Bike 2 Move is a project from my girlfriend. She had an assignment where she had to organize a charity project for “De warmste week”. The idea was to use a bike where people could donate 1 euro to cycle for 60 seconds. After 60 seconds you can see how far you cycled and help to get to the 1000km target. The money that was donated would be given to Move 2 Improve.
The app
The app handles some things to make it more easy to track this project. When someone donates he can start cycling. The app will start a countdown and gives the cyclist how much time is still left to cycle. If he is finished the leaderboard will be shown with the position of this cyclist. The leaderboard itself is cached on your device an can be used when another cycling session is organized.
